Scope and Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of our website and any purchase of products (“Products”).
By ordering, creating an account, or using the site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are acting in the course of a business or research institution (not as a consumer), and agree to these Terms.
Research Use Only; Prohibited Uses
All Products are supplied strictly for laboratory research use only (RUO).
Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, household, or any other non‑research use.
You must not administer, ingest, inject, implant, or apply any Product to humans or animals, or incorporate any Product into foods, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics, or use for any unlawful purpose.
Eligibility and Customer Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that you are a qualified professional, laboratory, company, or institution with appropriate training, facilities, approvals, and competence to handle these materials.
You are solely responsible for: (a) obtaining and maintaining permits/approvals; (b) risk assessment and safe handling, storage, transport, use, and disposal; and (c) compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and good laboratory practice (GLP).
No Medical or Performance Claims
Any references to biochemical properties, receptors, pathways, or published research relate to controlled experimental contexts only and are provided for information.
We do not provide medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, consumer, or performance advice and make no claims of safety, efficacy, or suitability beyond RUO.
Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion (e.g., regulatory risk, eligibility, stock).
An order is accepted only when we issue a written confirmation or dispatch the Products.
You must provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact details and keep your credentials secure.
All delivery/shipping fees, including any supplemental charges for expedited or international services, are payable by the buyer.
Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Prices are in GBP unless stated otherwise and may change prior to acceptance.
Prices exclude taxes, duties, and shipping, which are added at checkout or invoiced.
You are responsible for all destination taxes, customs, brokerage, import duties, and compliance.
Payment terms are as shown at checkout or on invoice. We may hold shipments until funds clear.
Shipping, Risk, and Title
Delivery windows (estimates only):
Domestic shipping aim for 1-2 days delivery comes with tracking issued once order has been posted to the email on file cost is £4.50, orders over £100 is free.
international shipping £12.50 free shipping on orders over £350 comes with tracking issued once parcels has been dispatched.
europe 3-5 days delivery, worldwide 5-7 days.
All delivery and shipping fees are charged to the buyer.
We ship using methods suitable for the Products (including cold‑chain where applicable). We are not responsible for delays beyond our reasonable control (including carrier delays and customs holds).
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. Title passes upon our receipt of full payment.
You must promptly inspect shipments on delivery and note any visible damage with the carrier.
Delivery Delays and Force Majeure
We are not liable for delay or non‑performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including shortages, carrier delays, customs holds, acts of God, regulatory actions, strikes, or equipment failures.
Performance is suspended during the event; we will use reasonable efforts to mitigate and resume.
Inspection; Reporting Issues
You must inspect Products within five (5) business days of delivery. Report any shortage, visible damage, or incorrect items in writing within that period with reasonable evidence (e.g., photos, packing lists, carrier notes).
For suspected quality issues, cease use, segregate the material, and contact us with batch/lot numbers, storage conditions, and test details. We may request samples for investigation.
Returns and Cancellations
Returns are not accepted under any circumstances due to the nature of the Products (sensitive research materials). This does not affect any non‑excludable statutory rights applicable to business‑to‑business sales, where relevant.
Order cancellations after acceptance are not permitted. In exceptional cases at our discretion, we may cancel before dispatch; any refund or credit (if offered) will exclude non‑recoverable costs (including handling, packaging, and bespoke preparation).
Product Information; Certificates of Analysis
We may provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and/or analytical data for a batch/lot. Any stated purity, identity, or content pertains solely to that batch and to the methods/conditions described.
You are responsible for determining suitability for your protocols and performing any required validation, qualification, or incoming QC.
Storage and Stability
Any storage/handling guidance we provide is informational and intended to preserve material integrity for research use. You are responsible for implementing appropriate controls (e.g., temperature monitoring, aliquoting, and documentation).
We are not responsible for degradation or nonconformity arising after delivery to the carrier, including due to storage, handling, or use outside recommended parameters.
Regulatory Compliance and Export Controls
Products may be subject to UK export controls, sanctions, and destination restrictions. You agree not to export, re‑export, resell, or transfer Products in breach of applicable law.
You must comply with all applicable UK, EU, US, and local regulations relating to controlled substances/materials and sanctions.
Warranties and Disclaimers
At the time of shipment, we warrant that Products will conform to our then‑current specifications for the relevant lot as set out in the COA (if provided).
Except as expressly stated above, the Products and all information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any other warranties, representations, or conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or results in your applications.
Research outcomes vary by protocol, equipment, matrices, and environmental conditions. You assume all responsibility and risk in your laboratory environment.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential losses; loss of profits, revenue, business, data, or goodwill; or claims arising from misuse, storage/handling errors, transportation conditions, or use contrary to these Terms or law.
Without limiting the foregoing, we shall have no liability arising from any ingestion, injection, administration, implantation, application to humans or animals, or other non‑research use of any Product.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Products or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your purchase, handling, storage, use, or disposal of the Products; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of applicable law.
This indemnity expressly includes any claim, demand, investigation, or proceeding arising from ingestion, injection, administration, implantation, application to humans or animals, or other non‑research use of any Product.
Intellectual Property
Purchase does not grant any licence under any patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, or other IP rights, except a limited right to use the Product for RUO in accordance with these Terms.
Do not remove, alter, or obscure markings, labels, or notices on Products or documentation.
Privacy and Data Protection

We act as an independent controller for account, order, and support data and process such data in accordance with UK data protection law.
Website Use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or engage in scraping or automated data collection without consent.
